The Rolex Mentor Protégé Arts Initiative is a novel initiative by Rolex to take forward the legacy of a mentor and protégé relationship. The initiative was introduced in 2002. The mentors and protégés are chosen from the genres of dance, literature, film, music, visual arts and theatre. The list of new mentors was announced on December 7, 2009 in London which marked the beginning of a new year of the mentor protégé relationship. The unique program comes from the house of Rolex which has set the highest standards of watch-making in the industry.
