The South African racer, Mark Patterson, who had a near-podium finish in the 2009 season of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series, will be seen making a come-back in the Daytona Prototype series for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of Glen as a part of the 2010 Grand Am Rolex Sports Car Series. The Sahlen’s event is due to take place on the 6th of June. The news was recently released by Michael Shank Racing.
Mark Patterson holds a record of two Jim Trueman Awards together with a string of successful racing events at the famous Watkins Glen. During the third Rolex racing event of his career, the Rolex Sports Car Series, Mark Patterson made an impressive podium finish in the year 2005. Watkins Glen has also witnessed Mark Patterson give several memorable performances.
