With just a month left for the Rolex China Sea Race to take off, the sailing world is all abuzz with the boats getting into the final rounds of safety preparations for the Offshore Category 1 Race. The race is going to start on 01 April 2010, Thursday. This year would mark the 25th time when the yachts will brave the 565 nautical miles. The race will start from Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong and will meet its end in Subic Bay, Philippines.
April 1962, marked the first time when yachts commenced the now hugely popular China Sea Race. A total of five yachts participated in the race including three yachts from RHKYC, one from Manila and one from Japan.
